The Canadian kerosene market saw a dramatic fluctuation in the consumption of kerosene, and this resulted in a very low consumption in May 2020. The market was seen to revive in June 2020. Due to the ban of international flights in the initial part of 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for aviation fuel plummeted. This hindered the growth of the kerosene industry. In India, there was a decline in kerosene demand in the second quarter of 2020 by almost 40%. Thus, kerosene, which is used in jet fuel, will temporarily be impacted by airline restrictions.
