In a recent post on Twitter, WWE Superstar Lana revealed some shocking information from her personal life that surprised the WWE Universe.

Lana sent an alarming tweet to her followers earlier in the day, stating that her mother could not breathe and was being rushed to the Emergency Room.

A lot of her close friends from WWE followed up on it and wished her well. However, more grim news came to light later.

Lana revealed a few hours ago that her mother had tested positive for COVID-19, which was the root cause of her problems. She thanks friends and followers for their prayers and support.

What role this turn of events plays in Lana’s current involvement in WWE is unknown. However, we can expect her to take a few days off to cope with the news.

Lana is only the latest in the line of superstars to be affected by COVID-19

Lana isn’t the first superstar in WWE to be affected by COVID-19. Kayla Braxton and Renee Young were among the few that have tested positive.

Kevin Owens had also lost his father-in-law to the virus a few weeks ago, making him take leave from the WWE temporarily.

WWE: Lana keen to wrestle regularly - and win a women's title ...

WWE has been meticulously following safety procedures and testing every one of its employees before they enter the stadium. Unfortunately, there have still been cases of Superstars contracting the virus.

The increasing fear of catching the virus themselves makes other Superstars weary of continuing the show, especially in dark times like these.

WWE will have to keep business going one way or another.

As for Lana, we wish her safety and hope that her mother recovers to full health soon. We also hope that no other Superstar is burdened with trouble from the virus anytime soon.
