HANGZHOU, China,– Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of innovative security products and solutions, announced its new access control and punctuality offerings, MinMoe facial recognition terminals, promising a new era access control by facial recognition.
To meet countless scenarios and the needs of real-world customers, the MinMoe line of facial recognition terminals features four complete series: Value series, Pro series, Ultra series and facial recognition for turnstiles. With powerful functions and competitive prices, the Value series products ( DS-K1T341A / DS-K1T331 ) were created exclusively for small and medium business environments, such as offices and retail stores.
“We see great advantages in the ‘non-contact’ experience that facial recognition offers. With advanced technology of deep learning and several practical functions, we hope that MinMoe facial recognition terminals can bring more security and efficiency to our small and medium size customers, making access control and punctuality a lot easier “, says Frank Zhang , president of Hikvision’s International Products and Solutions Center.
Fast and accurate recognition, even in the dark
Hikvision’s MinMoe facial recognition terminals are powered by a deep learning algorithm, which increases facial recognition accuracy to more than 99% and improves the scanning speed to less than 0.2 seconds. The improvement of verification rates and accuracy ensures pleasant and “no touch” experiences for users, a big improvement over the use of ID cards or fingerprint scans.
In addition, MinMoe facial recognition terminals perform well in low or no light environments.
More security with facial anti-counterfeiting
Equipped with dual lenses, visible light and infrared lenses, MinMoe facial recognition terminals only grant access when both lenses detect the same person, in addition to determining whether the face is real and not an image. This anti-counterfeiting technology makes access control management much more secure and prevents most presence fraud.
Various connections and integration options with third parties
In addition to the port connection, MinMoe facial recognition terminals can be connected to NVRs (network video recorders) for recording and storing data. They can also be connected to network cameras, to allow clear video recording of the scene, when any predefined event is triggered. Meanwhile, MinMoe products provide several third-party integration options for broad compatibility, allowing for quick and cost-effective connections between MinMoe facial recognition terminals and customers’ existing door control and frequency systems.
