Y’all know I’m into baking, cooking, roasting, and toasting. But do I have what it takes to ease up on the fire power, and freeze up the cooling tower? Give me the chance to buy an ice cream maker and a waffle cone iron, and I’ll give you the chance to savor some delectable flavors.
With this money I’m planning to buy the Cuisinart ICE-70 Electronic Ice Cream Maker for around $110, and the Cucina Pro Waffle Cone and Bowl Maker for around $35. All ice cream ingredients will be bought at cost. I want to provide amazing, unique flavors to my friends and coworkers, and continuously improve my ice cream making skills in the process!
These are some flavors I’m excited to create and perfect for your enjoyment! As my testing period (April) passes, I may tweak these recipes based on contributor polls and my own experimentation, so keep an eye out for updates!
Coffee Dark Chocolate Stracciatella
Craving a little bitterness? This smooth combination of rich dark roast with dark chocolate shards is a perfect complement to a profound conversation on a moonlit stroll.
Mango Sticky Rice
This flavor reimagines the classic dessert as a refreshing coconut mango ice cream, embedded with sweet chunks of mango.
Cinnamon Roll
A mix of sweet cream with cinnamon makes up the base for this delicious treat, swirled with thick bands of cinnamon crumble and just a touch of caramel.
T-Rex Tracks
T-Rex tracks is a not too sweet but flavorful chocolate ice cream with a peanut butter swirl and chocolate covered pretzel pieces.
Thai Milk Tea
A creamy black tea flavor, spiced with star anise, tamarind, and cardamom. (Available with tapioca)
Classic Vanilla
The creamiest, lightest vanilla you’ve ever had. Perfect alone or the perfect base for a hot fudge sundae.
-Vanilla ice cream will also be available every week-
Ice cream flavor and texture development is bound to be difficult! I’m setting aside the month of April to perfectly calibrate and beta my flavors before launching & delivering them in May. Disclaimer: my ‘original flavors’ may deviate slightly from the descriptions above after testing and adjusting them. I’ll be posting updates, pictures, and taking polls throughout the process!
