D.E.I. – Divide Et Impera is a competitive strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic future devastated by a New Ice Age.
You will be the leader of one of the 4 survivor Factions that compete for territories and resources in search of raw materials to exchange with the Purebred, the Corporation that dominates this new and terrible world.
Developed by Tommaso Battista for over 4 years, D.E.I. offers a complete and deep gaming experience on a 3D map where each player can achieve victory in multiple ways.
You will be able to try new strategies based on various factors, such as the Board composition, the available Market Cards, and the chosen Factions.
The race for survival has begun… will you be ready to face it?
In D.E.I., players will develop their strategies based upon the Faction they choose. Through the use of the Market Cards, they will have to guide their units in search of materials exchange for resources and to conquer the best Outposts.
Find and buy new and more powerful cards available in the 4 Markets of Old London.
The game takes place on a three-dimensional modular Board. Occupying the streets and roofs of the buildings will be essential for you to accumulate the Supply (Victory Points) needed to win the game.
The Purebred will provide Missions that will force the four Factions into even more competition and conflict to increase their productivity.
In the end, only the Faction with the highest Supply level obtained from the Pure Caste will win the game!

As usual, for games created by LMS, our artists have given their best by exploring and creating the world of D.E.I.
From character concepts to ending with sci-fi machines used in the game, each illustration has been treated in a meticulous way to describe the world of D.E.I. and to insert it properly into the canon of the Nova Aetas Chronicles universe.
Our sculptors have accepted the challenge of producing fantastic miniatures on a scale never seen before in LMS games, obtaining the fantastic results you can see on this page!
In D.E.I. you will play using very detailed 20mm PVC miniatures. This scale will allow you to have many models in the field at the same time, thus allowing you to move your units comfortably, even when the ground is full of miniatures.
The real masters of the board will be the Drones who, with their bulk and presence, will make the visual experience even more exciting! All the Miniatures of D.E.I. can be painted with excellent results despite their small dimensions. We proudly show you some examples of models painted by the gifted Michele ‘Lisk Mirizio!!

Ludus Magnus Studio aims to create new, exciting games with a special eye for mechanics and quality materials. Through this campaign, we are seeking to fund our fifth project: D.E.I. – Divide et Impera.
Just like our previous games, D.E.I. has required a huge effort by the Studio and its creators. Following a massive investment in terms of human resources, this game is the result of the efforts of a team that is passionate about its work and strives for excellence in every creative field.
Our past projects, Nova Aetas, Sine Tempore, Black Rose Wars and Dungeonolgy are proof of the passion we invest in the development of our games and the quality we achieve thanks to our high-level professionalism.
D.E.I. was born about 4 years ago from the prolific mind of Tommaso Battista. Over the course of this long playtest developmental period, the game has evolved into the version you see today in this campaign. The number of playtests and stress tests have contributed to the creation of an exciting game for everyone!
Tommaso Battista (Rome, 1975) is an architect and author of board games.
He designed games of various kinds, demonstrating extraordinary productivity and creativity. The genre he prefers is that of strategic euro-games, a genre that lends itself well to his scientific approach, and to the stylistic refinement, he applies to his concept of game design.
In 2019 Cranio Creations published “Barrage,” his first released game, of which he is a co-author with Simone Luciani.
LMS Team
The company was founded thanks to the combined passion of three board game enthusiasts, who decided to transmit their appreciation and love for quality products through their projects.
In the last four years, the Ludus Magnus team has expanded to include new members, now consisting in a family of more than 12 artists.
Our team includes illustrators, sculptors, game designers, administrative, marketing and logistics staff.
This means we are able to conceive, develop and produce completely independently.
In recent years the company has also acquired significant experience working on third-party projects, collaborating with companies such as Ares Games, Maki Games, Minion Games, Tabula Games, Reggie Games, and Ergo Ludo Edition.
External team
Thanks to past projects, we have been able to establish a number of collaborations with external artists who have injected additional value into our products.
During this campaign, we hope to reveal and unlock a number of creations designed specifically for us by high caliber figures such as Daniel Comerci and Macs Gallo.
Your rewards will be shipped from our international hubs. Based on your location, we will either ship to you from our hub in Germany (EU and the rest of the world backers), China (Asia Pacific backers), Canada (Canadian backers), Australia (Australia and New Zealand backers) or the United States.
In most cases, you won’t be hit with customs or VAT either, as we offer Customs Friendly Shipping to the countries where most of our backers are located.
Backers who do not complete their pledge manager by the deadline, which will be made clear via email notification, may need to have their rewards shipped from the US. This may incur additional shipping costs to international backers that would need to be paid for at that time.
Due to the size of the rewards and the risk of bounce back, we cannot ship to PO Boxes either domestically or internationally.
Following is a list of rough estimates for the cost of shipping a standard game package (4kg volumetric weight). Keep in mind these are just estimates, and costs may rise based on weight increases due to unlocked stretch goals and any optional buys you may select.
An ambitious project like D.E.I. will require significant effort for us as both individuals and as a team. We are aware that the huge amount of work to get to production and the subsequent distribution may suffer hitches and delays, but our team will do everything we can to prevent and correct any delays.
We will strive to get you your game on time.
At the moment we have completed the fulfillment of Nova Aetas and Sine Tempore and shipped the I Wave of Black Rose Wars and Dungeonology (Dungeonology shipped in the time we set and without delay).
In Addition, we helped to produce many projects from other companies, and we are learning and improving our skills every day.
We promise to keep you informed on the project with regular and frequent news so that you can always be sure of your investment.
REFUND POLICY

After 14 days and until we pay the production agreement with the manufactory, we offer a no questions asked refund minus the Kickstarter and payment processing fees (which we cannot recover).
