HOUSTON and LONDON,LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (NYSE: LYB) (“LyondellBasell”) announced today that LYB International Finance III, LLC, its wholly-owned subsidiary, priced a public offering (the “Offering”) of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.200% Guaranteed Notes due 2049 (the “Notes”). The Notes will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed by LyondellBasell. The Offering is expected to close on October 10, 2019, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The net proceeds of the Offering are expected to be used to repay a portion of the indebtedness outstanding under LyondellBasell’s 364-day, $2,000 million senior unsecured term loan facility.
Mizuho Securities USA LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are acting as the joint book-running managers for the Offering.
