Jonathan Hsu
As Chief Executive Officer of Recyclebank, Jonathan K. Hsu is responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of the company. Most recently, Jonathan was the Chief Executive Officer of 24/7 Real Media, the leading global digital marketing company. Prior to his 11-year tenure at 24/7 Real Media, Jonathan spent time as an M&A investment banker at JP Morgan Securities. Jonathan is a member of the World Economic Forum Future of the Internet Council, as well as The Paley Center for Media, and the Vistage CEO global community.
Jonathan holds an AB in Economics from Harvard University and a MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Jonathan lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters. He loves the Yankees (Go Rivera!), and the occasional round of golf with friends who appreciate a relative lack of graceful athletic movement.
Chief Financial Officer
John Bax
John Bax was most recently at RecycleBank, a start-up funded by Silicon Valley venture firm Kleiner Perkins. He also served as chief financial officer of Sentient.
Prior to RecycleBank and Sentient, he was vice president of planning and analysis for Wal-Mart Stores and chief financial officer of Walmart.com.
Bax spent eight years at Ernst & Young.
Bax is in charge of all things financial at LivingSocial, which expects to gross $100 million this year. If LivingSocial goes public, and we don’t know of any plans that it will, Bax will be in the middle of it.

Bob joined Sigma Partners in 1995 and has over 30 years of experience in the high technology industry.
Prior to joining Sigma Partners, Bob was President & CEO of Epoch Systems, the leading vendor of client-server data management software products. He sold the firm in 1993 to EMC for $141 million.
Previously, he was the Founder, President and CEO of SQL Solutions, a leading purveyor of services and tools for the relational database market. Bob sold SQL Solutions to Sybase for stock eventually worth over $100 million.
Bob served as an executive officer of Sybase for over two years.
In recent years, Bob has appeared three times on the Forbes Midas list, a ranking of top venture capitalists. He also appeared on the cover of Business Week in a features story describing how VCs thrive through good and tough times.
