Mark Woodka
Mark joined OnShift in July, 2008 as CEO. Mark brings to OnShift over 25 years of experience in enterprise software sales and marketing, having worked for startup organizations as well as Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to OnShift, Mark was Vice President of sales for Flashline, which was acquired by BEA in 2006. Mark successfully developed and implemented Flashlines global sales and channel strategy and later BEAs aqualogic sales team.
Marks track record creating and running successful business strategies also includes work with TMW Systems, where he built the sales team from the ground up leading to over 1500% increase in revenue, and PSI, a regional hardware and software VAR. Mark leverages his extensive background in technology-enabled process improvements speaking at industry conferences as well as authoring articles on long-term care trends and issues.
Vice President Marketing
Marti Bowman
As VP of Marketing, Marti brings significant experience leading go-to-market strategies, product marketing, communications and PR programs for technology startups as well as Fortune 500 organizations.
Prior to OnShift, Marti was a principal product director at Oracle, where she drove global go-to-market strategies for the Oracle Fusion Middleware product portfolio.
She joined Oracle through the acquisition of BEA Systems, where she was a product marketing manager.
Marti began her career in high-tech marketing as one of the early employees at Flashline, where her marketing initiatives helped position the company for its successful acquisition by BEA in 2006. Marti has also worked as a television producer, earning an Emmy Award for news production.

Larry Gasparro
Larry brings to OnShift over 20 years of experience developing and leading sales organizations at high-growth technology organizations.
His leadership in enterprise and channel sales strategy and execution has driven sales teams that have consistently exceeded the annual business plan.
Larry has held executive sales management positions at companies such as Visual Network Systems (acquired by Danaher Corporation), Caldera and Santa Cruz Operations/SCO Group. Throughout his career, Larry has leveraged his expertise in business development, sales leadership, and field strategies to secure major accounts and build revenue through new channel opportunities.
He has earned multiple awards recognizing his performance and achievements in sales and revenue growth.
Director
Claiborne R. Rankin
Clay is the Managing Member of North Coast Angel Fund, a venture capital fund he co-founded in 2006 to support early-stage, Ohio-based technology companies.
Previously, Clay was a founding partner of Sycamore Partners, LLC, a company that focused on providing fund-raising, Board of Directors, and consulting support to pre-seed and seed-stage companies.
His previous experience spans leadership positions at several organizations, including his work as President and COO of Bruning Paint Company and Vice President of Corporate Development and CFO of Laurel Industries, Inc.
Clay serves on the Boards of Directors of a subsidiary of a NYSE-traded company and several start-up companies, including LogicBay Corporation and NCAF portfolio companies Neuros Medical, OnShift, and SironRX Therapeutics (Chair).
He holds a bachelors degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jonathan Murray
Prior to joining Early Stage Partners as Managing Director in late 2000, Jonathan was President of Incubation Services, a strategy consulting firm that provided strategy development, business planning, and financial consulting to early stage companies in life sciences and information technology. Among his clients were Athersys Inc., Aelita Software, IdeaStar, and the Edison BioTechnology Center (EBTC).
Prior to forming Incubation Services, Jonathan was President of Volk Optical, a Mentor, Ohio manufacturer of lenses used by ophthalmologists and optometrists to examine eyes for disease. While there, he focused on product branding and marketing programs, reorganized the sales department, implemented enhanced regulatory programs, and contributed to sales increases of 30% per month over the prior year.

Mike Stubler
Mike is a Managing Director and co-founder of Draper Triangle Ventures, a network partner of Draper Fisher Jurvertson.
He has over 25 years of experience with start-up technology companies both as a co-founder and early stage investor.
Mike currently serves on the boards of OnShift, Ayalogic, Unitask, TOA Technologies and ClearCount Medical Solutions.
Mike previously directed the Funds investments in ClubCom (acquired by Amer Sports), Active Media (acquired by Precor), Renal Solutions (acquired by Fresenius, NYSE: FMS) and New Media (acquired by Zoom Media).
Mike is a Director and President of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association and a Director of the Ohio Venture Association.
Mike graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA.

Gene Groys
Gene founded OnShift with the idea to build mobile technology based software that enables businesses to automate their staff management processes with instant interaction like never before. Genes work experience spans leadership positions at both startups and Fortune 500 organizations.
Prior to OnShift, he was VP of Products and Marketing for Lavastorm Technologies, a provider of business applications, where he led product direction and strategy.
Gene also managed mobile content distribution at American Greetings Interactive and worked in telecommunications, media and energy product lines at Siebel Systems, which was later acquired by Oracle.

John Regal
Johns background encompasses over 25 years of experience in software development, infrastructure and business process management.
His career started in 1988 with Parallax MicroSystems where he managed and developed software solutions for the legal environment. Later, he developed systems supporting whats recognized as the first commercial e-commerce site on the Internet BookStacks Unlimited.
John later joined Flashline as Vice President of IT/IS where he supported the growth of the organization in product development, enterprise solutions and customer success. When BEA acquired Flashline, John stayed on as Senior Manager of Engineering for the AquaLogic products division and transitioned to Oracle when it acquired BEA.
John also has experience working with National City Bank where he was responsible for the enterprise assets, infrastructure and shared services.
Prior to OnShift John was Chief Technology Officer of Streamlink Software, a Cleveland-based SaaS startup.

Paul Chilensky
Paul brings to OnShift over 25 years of experience building and managing global service and support organizations, and has successfully grown service revenue and customer satisfaction to record levels with each organization. His healthcare background includes the long-term care industry, having led and implemented services strategies for sustainable customer satisfaction in a leading pharmaceutical systems company.
Prior to OnShift, Paul was responsible for building global service and support organizations with leading technology companies which include Vocollect (acquired by Intermec), Vivisimo (acquired by IBM), Legent (acquired by Computer Associates) and ANSYS, a multi-billion dollar publically traded software company.
He is an active member, Certified Instructor and Authorized Training Partner with the Help Desk Institute, the worlds largest membership association for the service and support industry.

Cathy Lippert
Cathy brings a strong combination of strategic management experience with a track record in product management for business growth. With over 30 years in the software industry at firms such as Oracle, BEA Systems, Compuware, The Open Group/Open Software Foundation, Hewlett Packard, and several startups, Cathy has crossed the chasm to manage software businesses through multiple acquisitions and all stages of the product lifecycle.
A former Vice President of Product Management at Flashline another north coast Cleveland company Cathy was responsible for the roadmap and product definition leading to successful acquisitions by BEA Systems and Oracle Corporation. Over the course of her career, she has managed business units of up to $200 million in revenue and product management organizations of up to 56. Cathy is a recognized innovator, thought leader and industry spokesperson in IT, with top-rated speaking engagements at vendor, customer, and industry events.

Teri Hembree
Teri has a unique blend of entrepreneurial and operations experience built over 30 years in both large and small corporate environments.
Teri has worked for larger corporations such as Mr. Coffee, the Marriott hotels and Cole National as well as smaller technology start ups such as TMW, Books.com, Parallax MicroSystems, Flashline.
Teri founded her own company, TH Resources, then became an investor/partner with a venture capital team working with a small number of Cleveland based technology startups one of which was OnShift. The work Teri was involved in throughout her career positioned her to take on a broader corporate role in Operations, working with ownership to determine and execute the corporate direction and strategy with the goal of continually increasing the effectiveness of the organization.

Robert A. Lauer
As Director and Operating Partner of Glengary LLC, Bob Lauer leverages his extensive management experience in strategic and operational initiatives grounded in information technology, organizational performance and change management.
He retired in 2000 after a 31-year career with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). Bob continues an active role with both private and public companies. He has been an investor, advisor and board member for early-stage and public companies providing a wide range of technology-based solutions across multiple industries.
He currently serves on the board of Glengary LLC., Agilysys, Inc. (NASDAQ), and the Cleveland Clinic Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute.
Bob holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University, and was recognized in 2009 as a Distinguished Alumni of the College of Engineering.
