SUP-X: The StartUp Expo, Florida’s premier early stage technology conference, announced today that Suneera Madhani, the founder and CEO of Fattmerchant will be featured in a fireside chat interview at its #women4women morning forum. The forum, which is devoted to female founders, entrepreneurs, and investors and women in general, will feature two panels in addition to the fireside chat where Madhani will share what she has learned while catapulting her idea from startup to a company with $2 billion in annual transactions truly disrupting the payments industry.
Madhani’s company Fattmerchant has revolutionized the payments landscape with a subscription based model and unifying the payments experience through the development of an integrated payments platform. Under Madhani’s strategic leadership, Fattmerchant has grown exponentially over just 5 years; attaining triple-digit growth year after year, scaling operations in multiple cities across the United States, raising $20 million in venture capital, and hiring nearly 100 employees.
When asked about taking the stage at SUP-X, Madhani said, “I am excited to share my experiences and insights with new entrepreneurs and future leaders.” Joy Randels, this year’s women 4 women chairperson who will be speaking with Madhani during the fireside chat noted; “Suneera’s story of growing a business is one that all entrepreneurs can relate to but she has also been presented with some unique challenges. In addition to being a female founder in the fintech industry, she is also a person of color, and she is building a technology business in Florida.” Entrepreneurship is about disruption of the status quo and innovation. Something Madhani has experienced firsthand, “It takes focus and discipline to maintain company culture while funding and scaling a business. We have been able to attain triple-digit year over year growth while retaining 98% of our customer base and be selected one of the best places to work in Orlando. I believe the lessons I’ve learned over the years will be meaningful to the audience,” she added.
SUP-X will be held on Thursday, July 25th, at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. Tickets to SUP-X are $29-$299 and are on sale now and booths and sponsorships are still available as well. For more information about SUP-X, visit, www.sup-x.org/2019 or contact info@sup-x.org.
