RockeTalk was founded with a vision of enabling all people to more easily express themselves and communicate with their friends, family and new acquaintances, as well as capture, share, and discover their contentall over their mobile phones.
RockeTalk has developed and launched a social media platform and mobile phone client applications that provide a variety of fast, easy-to-use multimedia services. Users can create any combination of text, voice, photo, and video messages, share with any contacts, join communities and chat with individuals and groups, and access a variety of entertainment and content. RockeTalk makes communication between individuals and groups easy and rich, and facilitates a new form of self-expression that informs, entertains and connects people through the media they create.
Alan spends most of his time and energy on the activities that will drive user acquisition, engagement, monetization and brand leadership in the vast new frontier of Internet growth RockeTalk is pioneering.
He has done this before. In the 90s with a small Irish software startup, Aldiscon, Alan helped make the market for mobile text messaging by securing some of the first few commercial infrastructure deals and for 10 years led an exciting international career helping Logica, its acquirer, become the worldwide leader in mobile value added service platforms and a world leading Software/IT services player with 44,000 staff.
Alan achieved a Bachelor of Technology (1st class) from Limerick University, Ireland and a post Graduate diploma in Maths and science from Trinity College Dublin. A keen sailor, Alan is a veteran of the Whitbread Round the World race
Sameer is responsible for all aspects of corporate branding, client acquisition, services, product marketing and user monetization. He was with the founding team that launched RockeTalk Indian operations in 2009 and has been instrumental in evolving the service to be Indias largest and most used mobile social media application.

Rajiv founded RockeTalk in 2007. He oversees all things technical in RockeTalk ranging from infrastructure, operations, product and of course the innovations critical to our sustained growth. As with all members of the management team, Rajiv is a key figure in guiding the strategic vision of the company.
At Uniden, Rajiv was responsible for the development of the advanced wireless data product line that included GPRS modems, CDPD and 2-way pagers. Rajiv was also an engineering leader at Hughes Network Systems. During his stay at Hughes Network Systems, Rajiv was one of the primary inventors of CDPD technology that was the first ever cellular wireless data deployed.
Rajiv holds several patents and has published textbooks in the wireless data area. Rajiv holds a BS and MS from Indian Institute of Technology.

hartesh is responsible for driving all engineering activities related to development of RockeTalk products in the RockeTalk India engineering center. He has been instrumental in developing the RockeTalk technology from the concept stage to the current platform.
Prior to Cisco, Bhartesh worked for Fujitsu as software consultant, where he designed a threshold alert system for optical interface on their FSR switch.
Bhartesh holds Masters Degree in Computer application from ICSEI, Indore, India.
Leo Spiegel is a Managing Partner at Mission Ventures, Prior to joining Mission Ventures, Leo Spiegel was President of Digital Island, Inc., a leading provider of global e-business network and content delivery services. Leo joined Digital Island as a result of a merger with Sandpiper Networks, Inc., the world’s first content delivery service provider for the Internet, where he was the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer. In 2000, Leo won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Formerly he was also the co-founder, EVP and CTO of LANSystems, a network utilities software developer and international systems integration firm, which was sold to Intel Corporation and R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company. Leo went on to serve as Senior Vice President and CTO of Donnelley Enterprise Solutions Incorporated, the information management firm specializing in systems integration, outsourcing and software development.
