Jeffrey Dunn
Mr. Dunn has over thirty years of executive experience, including serving as the CEO of six companies. His medical device experience includes sacroiliac surgery, ankle replacement, and small bone extremity fusion. Mr. Dunn has taken one company public, sold all the others to larger public companies, served on numerous boards of directors and is an advisor to other CEOs.
Prior to SI-BONE, Inc. Mr. Dunn was CEO of INBONE Technologies, which he built into a leading ankle replacement and small bone fusion medical device company. Mr. Dunn led the sale of INBONE to Wright Medical in April, 2008.
Mr. Dunn was the CEO of Active Decisions. Brought in to effect a turnaround, he closed down a major product line and redirected the technology to the “software as a service” model. Active Decisions was bought by Knova Software, a public company that was subsequently sold to Consona, a private equity firm.

Dan Murray
Dan Murray has over 25 years of finance and operational experience in a broad range of medical device and technology companies, from small start-up organizations to large, multinational, public corporations. His experience includes venture capital and debt financing, initial public offerings, and merger and acquisition transactions, as well as expertise in all levels of financial management.
Most recently, he served as VP and Chief Financial Officer of Cayenne Medical, a multi-disciplined sports medicine start-up.
Prior to this role, Mr. Murray served as the Corporate Controller for St. Francis Medical Technologies, and was instrumental in the $725 million acquisition of St. Francis by Kyphon Inc. in January 2007 and the subsequent integration of the business operations into Kyphon.
During his career Mr. Murray also held senior financial management positions with Azul Systems, Inc.
Chief Technology Officer
Scott Yerby
Scott Yerby has served in an R&D position for several start-up medical device companies for the past 10 years. Most notably, he served as the VP of R&D for St. Francis Medical Technologies, until its acquisition by Kyphon in 2007. Scott has co-authored over 40 peer reviewed publications, 70 abstracts, and 60 patent applications, and been issued 17 patents for a variety of medical technology companies.
Prior to entering the medical device technology industry, Dr. Yerby served as the Director of Experimental Biomechanics at the Palo Alto VA Hospital for three years.
He has also held appointments as Consulting Assistant Professor at Stanford University in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Division of Biomechanical Engineering, as well the Department of Functional Restoration, Division of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Yerby holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, all from University of California, Davis.

Jason Cauble
Jason Cauble brings over 18 years of experience in the surgical device arena in both domestic and international markets including more than 10 years in sales leadership specializing in the commercialization of new technologies. As the seventh employee hired by SI-BONE, he has been instrumental in the early stage rapid growth and development of the company. Most recently Mr. Cauble was responsible for the southern region of the US sales team.
Prior to SI-BONE Mr. Cauble held positions of progressive responsibility in sales and sales management with the Auto Suture Company, a division of the US Surgical corporation.
Subsequently, he served Kyphon Inc. in various capacities in sales and sales management. His positions at Kyphon included senior director level responsibilities as well as an international posting within the European division of Kyphon as the Business Unit Director for the United Kingdom.

Bert Johnson
Bert Johnson has represented and advised clients as both outside and in-house legal counsel for over twenty-five years.
Before joining SI-BONE, he served as division general counsel for Medtronic Spinal & Biologics (where he was also Vice President for Business Development), Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer for Kyphon Inc. in Sunnyvale, California, and Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer for Chiron Corporation (now Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics) in Emeryville, California.
Prior to entering the healthcare field, Mr. Johnson worked for Sabre Holdings Corporation, where he led all legal services for Sabre and Travelocitys operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He also served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Administrative Officer for Sabres GetThere L.L.P. division, in Menlo Park, California.
He began his legal career as a commercial litigator at the Houston law firm of Baker Botts L.L.P.

Michael Mydra
Mike Mydra has more than 20 years of successful health outcomes, reimbursement, clinical, sales and marketing, and business management experience in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining SI-BONE, he was Vice President, Health Outcomes & Reimbursement for Vertos Medical, Inc. a manufacturer of lumbar spine technologies.
Mr. Mydra has held senior leadership positions at Sanarus Medical, Inc., Urologix, Inc., and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.
Most notably, while Vice President of Reimbursement at Sanarus Medical, he obtained a Category I CPT code and significant relative value unit (RVU) pricing for a cryoablation device. Mr. Mydra also obtained significant relative value unit (RVU) pricing from the Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) for this procedure and gained Medicare coverage & payment from CMS and hundreds of other influential national commercial payors for cryoablation of breast fibroadenoma.

Andrea Mercanti
Andrea Mercanti has over 25 years experience in the biomedical field, both in multinational companies in local and international distribution. During his 18 years with Medtronic (from 1987 to 2004) he held progressive positions in strategic sales in different divisions, including 12 years in Neurological Business Unit with spinal cord stimulation treatment for pain, 2 years in Peripheral Vascular Unit selling Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) endoprostheses and the Spine Division where he became Director in 2002 managing the integration of the Sofamor Danek team into Medtronic..
After Medtronic he joined Kyphon International as Business Unit Director for Italy, was promoted to Regional Director of South Europe (Italy, France, Spain and Portugal) and, in 2007, Director of the German speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). Andrea was responsible for 85% of the total Sales of Kyphon International.

Daniel Cher
Daniel Cher is a board-certified internist with over 15 years of clinical affairs and research experience in a variety of medical device technology companies. His experience includes developing clinical and regulatory strategy, designing and leading clinical trials, directing clinical research, and consulting with a variety of medical device technology companies.
Most recently, he served as VP of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Chestnut Medical, an early-stage company developing new minimally invasive therapies for Interventional Neuroradiology. At Chestnut, he lead clinical trials and regulatory affairs for the Pipeline Embolization Device, a novel device for the treatment of large and giant intracranial aneurysms, which received FDA approval in April 2011.
Prior to this, Dr. Cher served as VP of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Pulmonx, Inc., and was Medical Director and VP of Clinical Research at Kyphon, Inc., where he directed clinical research.

W. Carlton Reckling
Carlton Reckling is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with over 17 years of spine surgery and clinical research experience in Cheyenne, WY, Ft. Collins, CO, and St. Paul, MN. His experience includes authoring numerous clinical orthopedic publications, orthopedic surgical society presentations on a wide variety of spinal procedures and techniques, active multi-state practices in orthopedic spine surgery with licenses in MN, WY, CO, and NB, active membership in a variety of orthopedic spine surgery societies, including the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the American Association of Orthopedic Surgery (AAOS), and consulting in a faculty role with medical device technology companies.
Most recently, Dr. Reckling has worked as a spine surgeon at The Spine Center in Cheyenne, WY, and in spine surgery centers in Loveland, and Ft. Collins, CO, where he utilized a number of minimally invasive therapies for different spinal surgical procedures.

Ted Davis
Ted Davis joined Wright Medical Technology in late 2006 as Vice President, Business Development. Before this, he was a partner with MB Venture Partners, LLC (MBVP), a medical technology and life sciences venture capital firm specializing in musculoskeletal diseases from 2004 to 2006. Prior to joining MBVP, Ted spent seven years with Vector Fund Management (VFM), a $240 million healthcare and life sciences focused venture capital fund in Deerfield, IL. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Ted worked in the healthcare management consulting and pharmaceutical industries.
Ted received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mark A. Reiley
Dr. Mark Reiley is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with 20 years of experience creating ground breaking products for the orthopedic marketplace. He is widely known as the inventor of successful devices used in orthopedic and spinal surgery.
Dr. Reiley co-founded Kyphon, which revolutionized the treatment of vertebral compression fractures of the spine. With a presence in 43 countries and 5,000 annual surgeries, the kyphoplasty technique has changed the standard of care worldwide.
Following Kyphon Dr. Reiley developed the Archus Othopedics TFAS system. This novel spinal implant is designed to treat spinal stenosis, a condition in which degenerative changes in the facet joints result in compression of spinal nerves producing neurological symptoms in the legs.
Dr. Reiley then turned his attention to the foot and ankle, developing two revolutionary treatment options for patients suffering from foot and ankle pain.
