Originally built in 1900, Coleman’s Fireproof Depository is one of the most recognisable buildings in Liverpool today, the city’s very own Fort Knox. Coleman’s was originally a safe storage facility for expensive valuables, such as pianos, legal documents, deeds, strong-boxes, and jewellery. The iconic building is still very much known for its unique façade made of red brick and cast iron. In fact, it’s so loved that a few years ago it was used as the backdrop for a stunning Christmas show to celebrate Liverpool 8 and its history.
These days the four-story indestructible building is being converted into 27 New York style luxury one-bedroom warehouse loft apartments. Coleman’s Fireproof Depository offers modern 1-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 30-67sq.m, with a full private kitchen and luxury bathroom. It also provides excellent facilities for residents such as bike storage, laundry facility and extra storage areas in the basement.
Coleman’s Fireproof Depository comprises 27 one bed apartments. Due for completion Q2 2017.

Liverpool is a city of innovation and growth in both the business and investment sectors. These factors have led to Liverpool being named as one of the UK’s top investment hotspots with rental demand far exceeding supply.
One region in Liverpool that has seen rapid growth is the Baltic Triangle. Located on the fringe of the city centre this once industrial area has now been revitalised. Where old unused warehouses once stood there are now over 400 firms, most of which are in the growing creative and digital industries. In fact this area alone contributes close to £900 million to the sub-region’s economy!
The Baltic area is Liverpool’s up-and-coming creative hub and home to some of Liverpool’s most creative businesses including game developers, digital agencies, app developers and artists. But the area isn’t all business, it’s home to some of the best bars, music venues and alternative dining that Liverpool has to offer.
