The Soho Loft Conferences supported the Camel Safari Gallery Opening event in New York City
Alex Beard, a renowned painter, philanthropist and wildlife conservationist hosted the On Camel Safari opening gallery this October 29, 2016. The event ran between 7pm and 10pm in Manhattan, New York, followed by a 6-day exhibition that took place until November 6, 2016.
Artists, environmentalists, investors, art enthusiasts and other related professionals gathered at the George Billis Gallery in New York for this creative event.
David Drake, LDJ Capital Chairman, says, “Alex Beard is an amazing artist, and his works are both remarkable and unconventional. His devotion towards creating awareness on preservation of endangered wildlife is truly commendable.”
Alex Beard’s artistic works are inspired by his travels around the world, especially to areas with isolated wildlife. These travels have shaped him artistically and as an individual. Alex launched ‘The Watering Hole Foundation’, a nonprofit organization focused on saving wildlife facing extinction.
During the exhibition dates, the gallery was open daily by appointment between 10am and 6pm. Exhibits showcased more than 15 brand new paintings and drawings. These abstract compositions are immensely influenced by Alex’s conservation work in Kenya as well as from his extensive travels. His paintings are centrally themed around environmental and cultural integration.
