2016 Bolzano Diving Grand Prix

Hi, my name is Ross Haslam and I am diver currently representing both the City of Sheffield Diving Club and Great Britain.  I have recently been selected to compete in my first ever senior international in Bolzano this July at the 2016 Bolzano Diving Grand Prix and I would love your support in helping me finance this trip.

I have been diving for 12 years, starting at just 6 years of age, and have dedicated the majority of my life to the sport. While still only 18 years old, I train 6 days per week, putting in up to 9 sessions and over 20 hours a week in the hope that one day it may be possible for me to fulfil my dream of representing Great Britain at an Olympic Games.

I have managed to do all this whilst still at school and have just recently completed my A level exams.

In diving I have battled through countless injuries, but I have always remained focused on the goals I put forward, and I appreciate how lucky I have been with diving enabling me to travel the world at such a young age.

I first represented Great Britain in 2012 and since then I have competed at 2 Junior European Diving Championships, 2 Junior World Diving Championships and most recently at the First European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan last year, along with many other international events.

I really hope you will be able to help me in my next chapter as a senior athlete, starting with the 2016 Bolzano Diving Grand Prix in Italy this July.

Thanks, Ross
