Every morning our school shouts out our motto which describes them as being a leader, responsible, respectful, resourceful, and proud. My students follow this motto in school and in life.
My students come from a city that has been considered one of the most dangerous cities in America.
Despite that, they are creating their own path to a successful future. It amazes me to see how fully engaged they are to learn each and everyday. I feel privileged to teach such a great group of kids.
In our classroom we do not have enough space in our desks to fit all of our materials. We have many textbooks and interactive notebooks. Students need additional space to place these items. This cubby unit will help my class become organized.
I teach third grade and organization is a skill they need to acquire to become successful.
The less time students have to worry about where their papers and books are, the more time they are able to spend learning. Students need their own personal space to put their belongings. My students take responsibilities in the classroom and their individual jobs is to keep themselves organized.
