Video clip of The Grasslers From Smells Like Teen Spirit of Nirvana
(Video Clip Project)
The Grasslers will self-produce their new video clip using the iconic song “Smells like teen spirit” by Nirvana, with a Bluegrass version recorded in 1901 in Steam-Town! And they need You!
The pitch takes place in a spatial and temporal fissure where the universes of Tarantino, Tom Sawyer, Billy the kid, and Jules Verne collide into a return to the future. In the midst of a Western village under the influence of Steam Punk, characters full of color, will confront each other in a journey back in time with an uncertain outcome …
In a slightly modified space-time continuum of SteamTown, in 1885, after the successful bankruptcy of the Ulule bank, Johnny West, the sponsor of the coup, doubled his 4 henchmen and fled with the original sound bands ! Realizing the treachery, the 4 mercenaries found him in the Saloon where he had taken his ease in charming company and a merciless confrontation seems more than inevitable. Will he be able to escape and return to the Future in time …?

WHERE WE’RE GOING ARE, WE DON’T NEED… A ROAD
Coming straight from the Var West, The Grasslers is a band whose generous, rhythmic music targets a wide audience. Worthy descendants of Davy Crocket and Tom Sawyer, they combine the Pop-Rock style with that of Folk Bluegrass US Traditional music. Their universe at the crossroads between Tarantino and O’Brother offers a total change of scenery and their swing delivers an energy able to move any “hard ass” / “Soggy Bottom Boy”!
Born in the spring of 2016, after a little bunch of passionate musicians meet each other, The Grasslers settled quietly in the sound landscape of southern France. Barely a year after their debut in the bars and local scenes, they are already programmed in country, rock and vintage festivals all over the region (South Vintage, Country Roque, Rendez-vous).
A simple and efficient concept :
– 5 string instruments [Banjo – Mandolin – Violin – Guitar – Bass]
– 5 powerful and warm voices
– Traditional American Bluegrass folk music songs
– Songs from the Pop / Rock Anglo-Saxon repertoire from the 70s to today, that everyone knows (Police, The Beatles, Depeche Mode and Nirvana of course)
! STAY TUNED !
