Liliane is a client of MFI Hekima. She sells foodstuffs out of her home in town. She is a member of a loan group called “La Victoire” (Victory).
Liliane is 28 years old, married, and the mother of four children, three enrolled in school and one not yet school-age. She has been in her business for three years, starting it with working capital she received from her husband.
Liliane is going to replenish her stock of different sorts of oil, sacks of rice, and Omo detergent, so as to bolster her business. She wishes to pay school fees and feed her children.
In closing, she thanks Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to entrepreneurs who are not served by conventional banks.
Please note that in the photo some of the clients are carrying their babies.
