Aqsaa Noreen, aged 48, lives with her four children and her husband in Gujranwala, Pakistan. Her growing family has been facing the challenge of meeting their expenses on her husband’s small income.
The idea of entrepreneurship emerged three years ago when Aqsaa Noreen took the initiative to open a small general store to provide basic edible items at the community level. The idea worked well but she has been unable to add stock of some necessary items to her store including oil, ghee, sugar, pulses and bakery items due to the unavailability of finance.
To solve this problem, Aqsaa Noreen has requested a loan from JWS Pakistan. This loan will help her to purchase stock such as oil, ghee, sugar, pulses and bakery items to sell in her general store, so she can increase her income in a sustainable manner.
Aqsaa Noreen is thankful to Kiva and JWS Pakistan.
