Antoinnette is a woman who sells grocery items at a market in town. A client of the microfinance institution Hekima, she is the president of the loan group called “Tuongozane”. She is 57, a widow, and the mother of eight children, of whom three are students, and five are adults. Having received capital from her husband when he was alive, she has been in this business for 35 years.
She is going to stock up with six sacks of potatoes to bolster her business. Her wish is to build a house and to provide an education and food for her children. So she thanks Hekima and its partners for supporting unbanked entrepreneurs. It should be noted that one client is carrying her baby.
