The single serve coffee in a bag, to be used just like a teabag, is not a new concept but recent developments in filter technology enables an ideal infusion product to be developed. Our material, which has never been used in the UK for coffee filtration, gives the coffee an excellent infusion in as quick a time as possible, for an instant fresh coffee, as if from a percolator. Freshly ground coffee beans are made up into coffee bags, and then packaged into a variety of presentation containers.

We anticipate that our business will become saleable within 5-7 years, and the most likely buyer will be one of the larger roasters in the UK. In 3-5 years, we may be able to give a return on investment at this stage of 30%, to enable investors through SEIS to either withdraw funds, or continue with us with a view to increasing the investment potential at the time of sale of the business.
