Just like the moments in your life, our ice cream is meant
to be savored and celebrated-a moment for you and for others.
We infuse our own premium ice creams and sorbets with the wines and spirits of our renowned partner companies to create unique and refreshing frozen desserts. Thanks to the increasing demand for high quality food and beverage options, our ice cream and sorbet cups are flying off the shelves of our fifteen retail locations and our scoop service cart is in high demand for special events–three times at Twitter Global HQ.
A Little League home run, a report card full of A’s, learning to ride without the training wheels. These are the sweet moments of childhood, moments rewarded with a trip to the ice cream shop for a celebratory scoop.
An engagement, a promotion, a warm Saturday afternoon with friends. As adults, these are our moments to celebrate, the moments when we raise a glass.
Though we now reach for champagne or that Napa Pinot Noir to commemorate these occasions, we still love the nostalgia and comfort of ice cream. What better than to combine the two?
Sure, alcohol-infused ice creams have been around for a while, but they often leave a lot to be desired. They are soupy or made with cheap liquor, and feature uninspiring flavors. They are gimmicky and marketed to college students and party animals with one goal: getting wasted. Until now.
Momenti is different. We focus on producing ice creams and sorbets that first and foremost taste delicious. We create flavor combinations for sophisticated palates and use only the highest quality wines and spirits.
Our frozen treats are perfect for any occasion, whether a scoop at a concert or a pint at home for girls’ night. We feature flavors that reflect current trends in drinks and desserts. The smooth and creamy texture of our ice cream rivals any other super premium on the market and the special patent pending freezing process we developed lets them pack a punch.
We are natural. We use natural ingredients in all of our ice creams and sorbets.
Respected partners. We are honored to be partnered with well-known names in the spirits industry, such as Ventura Limoncello, Sonoma Cider, Fete Petit Sirah and a local Las Vegas favorite CraftHaus Brewery.
Patent pending freezing process. The challenge of creating an alcohol-infused frozen dessert is that alcohol requires a much lower temperature to freeze. We teamed up with renowned food scientist, Dr. Bruce Tharp, to develop our exclusive alcohol freezing process. As a result, we are able to maintain up to 13% alcohol content in our ice creams and sorbets (similar to the alcohol by volume (ABV) of wine) while keeping our ice creams and sorbets soft and creamy.
Even non-drinkers like Momenti. Market research has proven that over 60% of people who say they never drink alcohol would be willing to try our spirit-infused ice creams and sorbets.
State of the art facilities. We recently opened our 3,000 square foot factory in Las Vegas, where we can produce up to 185 gallons of ice cream and sorbets per hour.
Quality Control. By owning the production process from start to finish, we are able to ensure the quality of our product. We aren’t forced to use a co-packer, who is focused on making a profit rather than maintaining the integrity of our ice creams and sorbets.
Custom packaging. For corporate events, we can create custom cups featuring your company’s logo. This is particularly attractive to conventions and events in Las Vegas and wineries looking for private labeling of their own wine sorbets.
In the seven months since our factory grand opening, we have accomplished some key successes.
We were invited to provide scoop service at Twitter’s Global HQ in San Francisco on three separate occasions. Our products have been sold at the Kaaboo Rock Festival in Del Mar, CA and Live Nation events, such as the Dixie Chicks at Irvine Amphitheater and the Lost Highway Festival at San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino
We tripled our number of retail locations to fifteen within three months, and we will soon be expanding our market to California where we have a wholesale license and warehouse in Fullerton and the East Coast with our recently acquired license to sell in New York and New Jersey.
Our media mentions include NPR, Time, Thrillist, Eater, the Food Network, Money and The Las Vegas Sun and Review Journal.
Our products have received raves from members of both the ice cream and wine and spirits industries.
We are also excited to introduce new flavors that are currently being perfected in our test kitchen. Were currently launching seasonals like Rum Raisin and Eggnog, and classic refreshers like Margaritas.
Leif is the creative force behind Momenti. Leif is a graduate of Colby College in Science, Technology and Society. The idea to create his own alcoholic ice cream came to Leif on a bus trip to Las Vegas when he and his IT colleagues were told liquids- such as the beverages in their trusty R2D2 cooler- were forbidden. The initial frozen White Russian treat he mixed marked the birth of Momenti. Soon after, Leif left a successful career in IT security and as a Microsoft Certified Instructor and started getting serious about his ice cream business. In 2013, he attended the annual seminar on ice cream science by Tharp and Young. He has since mastered the art and the science of making ice cream and sorbets, and teamed up with Dr. Bruce Tharp to create Momenti’s patent-pending freeze process.
