General Prayuth Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand visited the suite of offices of the Group of 77 on September 21 during the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.

Thailand holds the position of Chair of the Group of 77 for the year 2016, a role which involves representing the 133 members of the group at UN meetings in New York.

During Prime Minister Chan-o-cha’s time in New York, he chaired the Fortieth Annual Meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Group of 77 as well as an interactive dialogue on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
