Biscuiteers is an award-winning online retailer of hand-made hand-iced biscuits. Launched in 2007 with the mission statement ‘why send flowers when you can send Biscuiteers instead?’ Biscuiteers was one of the first companies in the UK to offer luxurious collections of hand-iced biscuits to send as gifts. With exceptional packaging and a range of constantly changing seasonal collections, Biscuiteers believe they’ve created a whole new sector in the premium gift market.
By focusing online the company has been able to scale to sales of around £3 million per annum and now boasts over a million followers across their social networks. The company has grown and been profitable every year and has 100,000 customers in 98 countries.
In addition to the online sales direct to consumers, the Company’s products are also stocked by leading retailers including John Lewis, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason.
Biscuiteers also has a growing corporate business and have made bespoke biscuits for prestigious brands including Cartier, Christian Dior, and Net a Porter and holds licenses for Mr. Men, The Snowman and the Justice League.
The Company has two biscuit icing cafés in London, one in Notting Hill and a second in Battersea. It operates out of two industrial bakeries in South London. In 2014 Harriet Hastings, the Founder, was named at the Investec Food and Drink Entrepreneur of the Year awards as Best Online Entrepreneur.
