NEW YORK, NY – uSell.com (OTC: USEL), a technology driven company focused on extracting the maximum value from used mobile devices, announced today that it has expanded into a new 21,000 square foot facility in Edgewood, NY, more than doubling its capacity to process devices in advance of the iPhone 7 Launch.
The move is a substantial upgrade from its current warehouse in West Babylon, which is just over 8,000 square feet. The new location not only provides room for the company to grow but also offers a much larger potential pool of employees to work in the warehouse during the busy iPhone and holiday seasons.
“Testing and grading devices rapidly is core to our success,” said Nik Raman, CEO of uSell. “In our previous West Babylon facility, we were severely constrained by both space and the size of the local labor pool, which limited the quantity of devices we could test per day. This, in turn, limited the quantity of devices that we could buy and effectively capped our revenue. With these constraints relieved, we can focus on capitalizing on what may be one of the largest upgrade cycles to date.”
The Company signed its new lease on September 1st, and the warehouse became fully operational on September 19th.
