OnTrack will keep you updated with the latest files and course notifications on your desktop all fast, easy and automatic.
Students need to keep themselves updated every day.
Each day there are new files, new file updates and new school notifications.
What if you just boot up your PC and all those files are neatly and organized inside folders?
What if a teacher sends out a notification and most of the students are notified too late because they’re already too busy with their daily life?
It’s not a matter of “if” anymore because that’s where OnTrack helps you out. It will give you the ultimate connection with your school platform. OnTrack will organize all the files for you and will let you know if there is something you need to know about your course enrollments.
BENEFITS OF ONTRACK:
For students:
For educators/lecturers and teachers:
OnTrack is a cross-platform desktop application that stops the robot-like job of keeping yourself updated and informed about your school.
The idea was born inside the congress building of the PXL university in Belgium. That’s where Bas Dijkstra started downloading all his files one by one through the platform the school provides. After downloading and sorting all the files neatly inside folders he received a new mail stating one of the files was updated. At that very moment Bas noticed that this way of keeping himself updated for school was way to much robot like.
The whole procedure can be automated and it will benefit a lot of students all over the world. At home Bas contacted Dorelys Smits to think about a way how to design the software with user friendliness in mind. And so the project was started.
With the skills Bas and Dorelys learned through their passion for IT, they quickly started development for a first version of the software for Windows. Soon after they knew they had to develop it cross-platform for Windows, Mac and Linux.
There is a first beta version of the software but it is far from being a mature software release. So we started this campaign to ask you to aid us in innovating the educational IT world for all students.
OnTrack has been successfully tested on Mac and Windows. Linux support will follow soon.
At release OnTrack will have the following software features:
At this moment the software has been optimized to work with the following school platforms:
Support for other small to large school platforms will be added with the backing of this campaign.
It is important to keep in mind that we won’t be able to completely fund OnTrack if we don’t reach our Kickstarter goal, ultimately not sending out the rewards to our backers. Since developing software is really hard to accomplish we know we will make it happen with your support.
We want to reshape te world that students work and study in by the use of OnTrack. We genuinely believe in OnTrack and think we can make the life of each and every student less stressful. Who wouldn’t want to help out this and our next generation of engineers, art-students, entrepreneurs and maybe even astronauts in their schools?
You can support us by not only backing our Kickstarter campaign but also share it through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, emails to friends and relatives. It would tremendously help us reach our goal when more people know about the campaign.
The software should take 30-90 days full time work to make it error-free. After which it can be distributed in non-beta release versions to the world. In this period we will look into adding support for more and more school platforms into OnTrack.
The physical rewards will be shipped within 30 days to our backers after we met our goal.
Concerns? Questions? Ask us! We will respond very quickly.

We know we can develop this software, the know-how and expertise are within our skillset or within our personal network. We do however have a challenge at hand to make sure the software is known by almost every student in the world. This can only be done through marketing campaigns and the support of our backers.
We will keep the backers up-to-date about the software as much as we can. Because we know it is very important to keep our backers informed about the development. No matter how big or small.
Thank you!
