Celine Group’s story
Celine is a group of three hardworking women, who are putting so much into improving their family’s livings. They decided to hold hands and acquire a loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua to develop their businesses and cover their living expenses. Rajaa is the groups featured borrower. She is a 26-year-old married mother of two, who has been running her tissue and toilette papers retail sales business for the past two years. She helps her husband, who works as a blacksmith, to cover their children’s necessary living expenses. Rajaa’s loan share will be used to increase her business merchandise with special-offer tissue and toilette papers. Rajaa is the woman at the far left side of the picture. As for the other group members, Tharwat is the woman in the center, while Najah is the woman at the far right side of the picture.
