Aminata is a 47-year-old mother of four children, ages 35, 24, 16 and 8. She sells food (cooked food) as her business. She started the business to be independent and financially support her children. She currently has some family members who help in the business.
Aminata and her group members have requested a total loan of SLL 4,000,000. Of this amount, Aminata is to receive SLL 1,000,000, which she will use to buy more bags of rice, gallons of palm oil and vegetable oil and cartons of iced fish.
