I created these really cool t shirts celebrating Hispanic culture in a very unique way. That being the way of the slang.

About this project

Living in a place like Miami which is mostly hispanic, I have been able to really experience a lot of different cultures and customs in my own community. One thing that touches a great chord with people is where they are from, myself included. Pride is not to be underestimated. I made a simple design with my own country one day and thought ” hey this can be a really big thing, especially if I include others in this format”. The design of the shirts are the flag of a country with certain slang from that country in the flag. On the sleeve is a map of the country or something related to give that extra value and thought. I have been able to print out 3 designs so far, Panama, Colombia, and Cuba. People who have seen them really like them, nobody has done this before in this particular way. They actually sold pretty well at a small expo I went to last wee. I am interested in printing 6 more designs as of now but is a little pricey for the time being. I am asking for donations to be able to come out with the Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Jamaican designs. I believe these specific countries will sell very well. I already have those designs ready and a printer but don’t currently have the funds to print those out. You can check out the company instagram, my user name is repzen. The instagram page is very creative and is starting to buzz.

Risks and challenges

The main challenge I feel with this project is getting people to really see the product. I have started to gain some interest on social media and plan to be aggressive with my marketing. Luckily I have developed a few good marketing campaigns that will keep busy for the next couple of months. I really feel once the right person or people start wearing the shirts it will catch fire from then on.
