Kytosan(tm) USA, LLC, will process shellfish waste (crabs, shrimp, crawfish) into “chitosan”, a high demand product with multiple applications, from industrial to agricultural to medical. Under exclusive patent licensing from its parent company, AgraTech International, Inc., it will produce industrial and medical grade chitosan for use in the manufacture of many diverse applications of the product. Upon completion of its plant in Opelousas, LA, KUSA will become the largest commercial chitosan manufacturer in the U.S.
Kytosan USA, is pursuing a Reg. D, Rule 506(c) Private Placement, offering equity in the company in a Series A round. This offering is only open to accredited investors or qualified purchasers as defined under applicable federal and state securities regulations. This offering is speculative, and an investor may lose some or all of his or her investment.
Processing 100,000,000 lbs. of crab, shrimp and crawfish waste annually, KUSA will produce commercial and medical grade chitosan. Indications of interest already received from end users would imply that the total output of the company will be pre-sold.
