First Full-length Feature Film
AU-DESSUS DU SILENCE
In a few words, our project is about finishing our first full-length feature film which we started eight months ago.
In more than a few words :
Synopsis :
In an imaginary France, the government in place has enacted a new law which punishes homosexuality. More than a simple infraction, it is now a crime. The Police Department undertakes a purge among citizens. Chiara is one of the victims; her girlfriend, Anna, turns mad: to forget or to remember ?
Far from being a political movie, it deals with loss in a poetic way.

How we’ve been working :
The project started in December 2015 : at first, it was about creating a short movie for a subject at l’Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. The thing is that every single one of us felt what this budding movie could become. Then, we worked hard and passionately. If we’ve managed to make the movie grow up, we are not done with it yet. We hope to start filming in the beginning of September for a couple of weeks, before each of us goes back to Uni. Then we will need time to edit, to mix, to color grade the movie… Before that, we have to work hard and… raise funds ! Which means that WE NEED YOU !!!
Why crowdfounding ?
The whole team needs you to give birth to the movie ! Equipment (especially a steadycam); necessity of paying someone to help us mixing and editing the movie; setting, makeup, clothing… Each thing you do to support us is important and even essential ! Share our Facebook Page with friends, send Ulule Page to wealthy friends (if you know Bill Gates or Lady Gaga, please send them a text). If you are on Twitter, share our Ulule and Facebook Page with the hashtag #AuDessusDuSilence ! If you practise yoga, please hint at our project to your neighbour. AND OF COURSE : you can also support us by giving a little bit of money.

The team :
We are some students coming from different backgrounds, different cultures too. Who are we ?
Pablo, filmmaker :
Pablo is currently in a theoretical and practical course at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. In 2015-2016, he spent a year in Paris as an Erasmus student at Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, where Au-dessus du silence starts.
In Paris, he makes the documentary on Crave from Sarah Kane, played by students from Lycée Fénelon at Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers in June. Moreover, he made a documentary for the hispano-moroccan artist Said Messari called Metamorphosis, which was projected at La Villa des Arts in Rabat and Casablanca. Since 2014, he has been working at La Biennale di Venezia for the theatre section : he makes all the promotional videos and interviews with the artists.
Here are links from Pablo’s work : then you can have an idea of what he works on :
