Vanna Group’s story

Vanna, aged 42, is a widow with three children and resides in Takeo Province in Cambodia. For the past 10 years, Vanna has been a rice farmer, cultivating rice to earn additional income, typically making US$2 per day. Her family is also supported by two of her children who work in a garment factory, while the third is a student.

Vanna, pictured first on the right, as the group leader, would like to request a loan for her group of three members. She will use her portion to purchase a cow to plow her farm, thus increasing her current profits and future prospects.
