Now is the time to make our debut album after a crazy first year together – help us bring our music and love to your ears!
Hello and welcome friends!
We are More Fatter. Loving is living, and our mission is to bring our unique taste of love to people near and far with our musical shenanigans.
Now is the time!
Our next big step in this journey is to create our debut album! It has been a magical year for us as we’ve created our band from scratch, and you – our supporters – are just as much a part of this wild adventure as we are. Now we need you to help us pursue our dream, and reward all our current and future supporters out there!
Great opportunities come at a cost…
We’ve been tirelessly writing, arranging, and performing new songs since the band’s inception in August, 2015.

We’ve carefully chosen nine of our our original compositions to record August 10-15 this summer at Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco. Tiny Telephone is an analog studio – the team there has worked with a wide range of artists ranging from killer local acts like Midtown Social to internationally recognized bands like Death Cab For Cutie. We’ll be working with engineer, Jamie Riotto – we’ve chosen Jamie because of his deep experience and wizardry with funkalicious, jazzy bands, and we can’t wait to get to work!
Projected Costs
We need $5,800 from you to cover the majority of our project costs:
Thank you for your support!
This is the first full-length, studio album we’re creating as a band, and as a result we have a lot to learn in the process. We’ve booked six days of studio time at Tiny Telephone, and we’ll be aiming to finish recording nine original compositions in that time. Sounds like plenty of time right?! Well, in reality it will probably end up being juuuust enough. We may even have to go with 8 tunes instead of 9.
However, we will not go below 8 songs, and we are completely committed to putting out an album that is “all killer, no filler”, as Gustaf loves to say. The great news is – as a band, three things we value enormously are 1) resilience, 2) open communication with each other and people around us, and 3) musicality. As a result, we’re seeing this debut album as a whole new challenge in collective creativity, JUST the kind of opportunity More Fatter thrives on! Thanks again!
