Berryl’s story

Signature Sandwich Co is locally owned and operated in Florissant, MO. Home grown in Florissant and looking to raise capital for our second location. Owned and operated by a husband and wife combo. 3rd generation butcher decides to open a sandwich shop and is blessed with great customer base and the support of a strong community. All meats are made fresh in house daily. Born and raised in St Louis and then relocated to the south for 6 years for work only to return home with family recipes inspired from the south and rooted in the midwest. The menu here is customer influenced and evolves about once a year. We are growing faster than I modestly expected and are experiencing growing pains. We have an opportunity to expand to a second location. This loan amount will be used to purchase ovens, prep tables and kitchen equipment. Thank you and God bless.

More about this loan

Business Description

This sandwich shop has been a dream of myself and my wife for the past 10 years. 6 years ago we were in the developmental stage. We have been in business now 4 years this September. The biggest challenge we have encountered has been keeping pace with our growth. This is a good problem. In the past year we have hired on help and we continue to grow larger with each step we take forward. Our customers are local and from all over as well. We have found that there is a large cult following of foodies that will travel for food alone. We are proud to be the talk of the town as we are 100% word of mouth. We take pride in our sandwiches. Our goal is to open a 3rd location in the next 5 years. Home grown in Florissant and looking to raise capital for our second location. Owned and operated by a husband and wife combo. Menu offers sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps, daily specials and off menu specials. 3rd generation butcher decides to open a sandwich shop and is blessed with great customer base and the support of a strong community. What is the purpose of this loan?

This loan will help myself and my family. This loan will help our family business. We have an opportunity to expand to a second location. This is a blessing. The stipulation is that we must move fast to secure this prime location at affordable lease rate. This loan amount we are requesting would take me a year to save for from my personal funds. If we wait a year then we miss this opportunity. This loan amount would allow our business to grow faster. This loan will be used to purchase an oven, prep tables and kitchen equipment. I found an oven for $3,000 a set of prep tables for $2,500 and $4,500 in kitchen equipment. The new lease for the second location is 1/4 the cost of our current location.
