Florida Anonymous is a non-profit organization that has sponsored AAU Youth Basketball Programs in our community for the last two years. Our organization’s mission statement is “Building names for the future”, and through our youth basketball program we are delivering on that promise by providing our boys with opportunities to developing individual/team skills, discipline and guidance on and off the court. We currently feature four AAU teams that we are sponsoring, and they consist of our 9 & Under (3rd Grade), 10 & Under (4th Grade), 11 & Under (5th Grade), and 17 & Under (11th Grade). We have a special group of talented kids, who represent our community well, and here are a few of the successes that speak to the level kids that you will be sponsoring…

3rd Grade

·         Youth Basketball of America’s “South Orlando Youth Sports Association Summer Slam” Champions

·         Adidas Classic AUU Super Regionals 9U Champions

·         The Big House AAU State Tournament 9U Runner Up

·         Brevard Bulls AAU Super Regionals 9U Champions

·         YBOA Florida Sunshine Classic Super Qualifier 9U Champions

·         YBOA Florida Boys State 9U Champions

4th Grade

·         YBOA Florida Sunshine Classic Super Qualifier 10U Champions
·         YBOA Florida Boys State 10U Runner Ups

5th Grade

·         Brevard Bulls AAU Super Regionals 11U Champions

Since our programs inception in 2014 we made it our focus to develop exceptional young men, and we knew that we could only deliver on that by making it about the kids.  In our effort to make it all about the kids, we elected to not charge children (or their families) a fee to belong to our organization.  We are currently the only team in our area that does not charge kids to play, and we pride ourselves on that.  However, funding four teams comes with quite the expense.  The expenses range from uniforms, equipment, tournament fees, and travel expenses (lodging, food, etc.), and we currently tackle those expenses through fundraisers like bucket drops and car washes.

The fundraisers have helped us pay for most of our tournament fees through June but we need help raising money for the following…

·         New Uniforms for 3rd Grade and 5th Grade teams. Currently our 4th grade and 5th grade teams are sharing uniforms so it limits us to what tournaments we can place them in.

·         AAU Nationals Tournament (tournament fees and food and lodging): Our 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade have all qualified for AAU National Tournament in Orlando but our 4th grade team’s AAU Nationals are in Tennessee.

·         YBOA Nationals (tournament fees and food and lodging): Our 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade have all qualified for YBOA Nationals in Orlando.

Any donation, no matter how big or small is valued and GREATLY appreciated!  The great Maya Angelou once said “When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed”.  On the surface, you may look at your donation as helping to buy uniforms, but it is truly an investment in these boy’s futures.  And our youth’s futures cannot be bought, they can only be invested in.  Thank you!
