A Film and Theatre project London, United Kingdom
Help Viscera Theatre bring its 5 STAR sell-out comedy from VAULT Festival and Lyric Hammersmith to Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh.
Following our FIVE STAR sell-out run at VAULT festival, we’ve been selected to perform our latest comedy production, In Tents and Purposes at the prestigious Assembly Rooms – one of the top four venues of the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
We need to raise £4,995.00 to make this project happen, which we’re hoping to achieve with your generosity. Any donations, however small, will be enormously appreciated and will help fund the following: venue hire and registration, marketing, accommodation, and technical requirements (payment for Stage Manager, props, PRS license).
Ten years. Two friends. One fortune teller.
A side-splitting and life-affirming play, exploring whether our lives are predetermined or shaped by our choices. Written and Performed by Roxy Dunn (C4 Babylon, BBC3 Top Coppers) and Alys Metcalf (The Play That Goes Wrong, West End).
In a culture of cuts to the arts and raised costs of living, it’s increasingly difficult to maintain the running of a theatre company. However, seeing the effect our work has on those who watch it makes the investment worthwhile.
Using humour and entertainment, our show encourages people to take positive control over their lives by making the most out of their circumstances. It also shows two women taking centre-stage and for that reason is proudly supported by Bechdel Theatre. https://bechdeltheatre.com/
A huge thank you to you from us.
Roxy Dunn and Alys Metcalf – Co-founders of Viscera Theatre Company
“Both actresses give exceptionally talented comic performances and the script is brilliant. A very charming, very funny, sharp, smart play.” A YOUNGER THEATRE
“Between Dunn and Metcalf, there is an abundance of ideas and talent, and their observations about everything from popular culture to human nature sets them apart as serious talent to watch.” FEMALE ARTS (5 STARS)
“What’s the plural of genius? These two are that word.” PATERSON JOSEPH (JOHNSON – C4 PEEP SHOW)
