Wheelchair accessible, off-grid home on wheels.

I’m Sam. I love to be on the move. I feed off of new experience. My very soul depends on it. It’s what makes me thrive.

I was born with a muscle wasting condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I use a wheelchair to get around and have 24hr live-in carers to help me with daily living.

Travelling. Both locally and further-a-field have become very difficult and complicated due to the logistics of managing with limited mobility.

As many of you will already know, I’m embarking on the project of a lifetime. To build my own home on wheels. A shepherds hut meets gypsy caravan kind of a wagon. Building began eight weeks ago.

It’ll be totally off grid! I’ve been designing it for ages….I’ve also mentioned it a few times (inside joke).

It’s also being filmed for a certain popular TV series so time is of the essence. I’ve got just five weeks to go! It can’t over run.

I’ve never done anything like this before, it’s exciting! I’m learning a lot. I’m being helped by so many beautiful people to make this dream a reality. Willing and skillful friends and family- you know who you are. To be on the road soon will be truly lifechanging.

It’ll allow me to explore the UK, go camping locally, visit friends and family who’s homes may be inaccessible, go to events and festivals with ease and travel to Europe and beyond! This wagon really will transform my life entirely. Allowing me to fully interact and engage with this wide world of opportunities and possibilities, giving vital variety, spontaneity and adventure, the chance to grow, get lost, meet new people, projects and ideas. To make connections inside and out.

I’ve gone over budget. So far the project has cost around £9000 . I desperately need another £4000 to finish it! The main expenses now are an outstanding fee for frame contruction, the renewable energy systems and finishing materials. I’m seeking grant funding and sponsorship and just generally praying for a miracle! Anything I can raise on here would be a massive help!

Those who donate get unlimited amounts of lovings, hours of free advice on building your own off-grid tiny home on wheels and a lifetime tea token.

ENDLESS thank-you’s in advance. Many blessings kind people x
