Fouad is a youth pioneer man. He is 25 years old and lives with his wife and a little son in Nablus city. He was working in the construction sector where he earned little and had unstable income. Because of that, Fouad decided to open his own business. His business idea is to buy a sewing machine to sew and repair clothes because there is no sewing (services) in his area. Fouad requested a start up loan from FATEN to start his own business and buy the first sewing machine to start a new beginning.

The Startup loan is currently being offered by FATEN to recent university and vocational training center graduates whose business is in a startup phase and does not qualify for financing under regular business loan requirements. The risks inherent in lending to startup businesses are mitigated by the creation of a feasibility plan during the loan application process, additional required collateral and an owner’s contribution of at least 25%.
