The Lobos Truck is a fleet of gourmet food trucks that serves kick ass comfort food with no compromises. Voted LA’s number one food truck in 2014, The Lobos Truck gives people on the go access to restaurant-quality meals without the hassle of searching endless menu options, parking or traveling far from wherever you happen to be.
It’s all topped off by our trademarked WACHOS®, which Buzzfeed called “the greatest marriage of our time: waffle fries and nachos,” and which allows us to combine that intellectual property with specific culinary concepts to create unique, mouth-watering meals. With our national franchise expansion, The Lobos Truck and our savory creations are coming to a street corner near you.
For the customers we serve, there are frighteningly few food options that combine restaurant-quality food and a quick turnaround.
Fast food? Please.
Sit-down restaurants? Who has the time?
Our menu of satisfying, flavorful cuisine is perfect for the corporate client with a 30-minute lunch window who doesn’t have time to drive around to find a high-quality meal and doesn’t want to stuff herself with overprocessed, empty-calorie fast food.
And the working-family of three with two parents who work full-time and two kids in school? They don’t have time to shop and devote an hour or more every day to prepare a decent meal.
The Rules
The rules say you can get it good or you can get it fast.
We’re breaking the rules.
So what’s a WACHO®?
Our signature dish is the WACHO®, a combination of waffle fry and nacho. We use criss-cut potato fries (waffle fries) and top them with nacho toppings.
Yeah, it’s as good as it sounds.
What is comfort food?
Comfort foods are traditionally prepared foods with sentimental appeal. They make you a bit nostalgic, they’re easy to eat and they’re rich in flavor.
Most of all, comfort foods are foods that make you happy. They’re foods that make you loosen your belt and say “Now that was a good meal.”
“Because the dudes who run the Lobos Truck love you, they invented Wachos, aka waffle-fry nachos.” Thrillist Los Angeles
“The new king of the block, The Lobos Truck serves up “kick ass comfort food,” the sort of thing you’d want to dig into at 2 a.m. after overindulging in your substance of choice. Want waffle fry nachos? Mac ‘n’ cheese with hot wings and bacon? This is the place of dreams.” Los Angeles Eater
“This popular L.A. food truck is responsible for the greatest marriage of our time: waffle fries and nachos.” Buzzfeed

The Lobos Truck is a mere three years old, but we’ve grown fast, gobbling up both the competition and awards:
We’ve also established our own branded sauce line, averaged 4.5 stars on Yelp and partnered with Nestle to develop a co-branded product set to roll out nationally in 2016.
And we’re just getting started. LA is a hungry town, but there are many more appetites to quench, which is why we’re starting a national franchise rollout, first regionally and then nationally. That’s right, America- WACHOS are headed your way.
