Proof of Concept:
After several years of research and development Greenwall Environmental Evolution and Dr Vladimir Zholobenko (An expert in near infrared spectroscopy) from Keele University’s Chemistry Department believe they have confirmed that a hand-held device can be developed that will enable asbestos surveyors to simply point a ‘gun’ like device at a section of wall or building materials, pull a trigger and have an analysis of the content of the material available within seconds. They feel that they have confirmed its relevance, capabilities and design requirements to proof of concept stage.
Greenwall aims to now design prototypes in conjunction with Keele University to enable live real time field trials to be undertaken prior to selecting an OEM to work with for the mass production of the device.
