At the Jewish Enrichment Center, children design dynamic Jewish life.
Every day, children here involve their whole selves in Jewish learning: they dive into a Jewish text with peers, and wrestle, refine, and recreate their own personalized meaning through creative, in-depth projects.
It’s extraordinary.
Children build Jewish knowledge AND create their own interpretation of Jewish life. AND build resilience, and skills for cooperation, problem-solving, respectful disagreement – and friendship. So much friendship. These children look out for each other no matter where they go.
Children have been designing Jewish life at the Jewish Enrichment Center for nearly five years now. We host over 70 children in our Sunday and after school program, and additional children for day-long Jewish enrichment play and one-week camps. We hold year-round Jewish enrichment programming for children and families, and develop a wealth of online materials to support families in being Jewish in ways they want. It’s a lot of programming, all of it supportive of our mission.
To maintain our success, and to continue to grow, we need your support. You can do TWO things to help set the Jewish Enrichment Center on a more sustainable path. Firstly, please share your story about how the Jewish Enrichment Center impacts your family. Then, please donate! Both the story and the donation tell our funders that our community believes in what we do. We have 14 days to raise $18,000 in new and increased donations, and gather stories, and a granting organization will match the funds.
