Pubcon is pleased to announce that noted digital storytelling expert Debra Jasper, Ph.D, founder and chief executive at Mindset Digital, will present a major keynote address during the Pubcon Las Vegas 2016 conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Jasper is an international keynote speaker who specializes in helping business leaders take advantage of powerful new platforms and visual approaches to engage audiences and build deeper connections. Thousands of people from across the United States are enrolled in her firm’s highly visual, online courses in LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, SEO, mobile marketing and digital advertising.
Jasper has worked with a wide range of organizations, from small business owners to Fortune 100 firms, major hospitals and universities around the world. She has given keynotes at the Nordic Media Festival in Norway, the Schibsted Academy for Journalists in Sweden and the Ukrainian Council of Ministers.
In addition, Jasper directed The Ohio State University’s Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism, where she launched the first social media journalism fellowship in the world – working with journalists from top newsrooms including CNN, 60 Minutes, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times.
Jasper served as the 2012 national keynote speaker for KeyBank, giving talks to thousands of business leaders on a 17-city tour from Florida to Alaska, and also taught graduate courses on the impact of digital media on public policy during her tenure in the John Glenn School of Public Affairs at Ohio State, one of the largest universities in the U.S.
Jasper has a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University and two degrees in journalism. Previously Jasper was an award-winning investigative journalist, who also spent a decade covering presidential campaigns and politics.
