Help build a Healing Centre India

iCrowdNewswire - Feb 19, 2016

The Divine Healing Centre will be a place where people from all walks of life will be welcomed and can come for a healing which is free for the poor, and by donations for those who can contribute to support the centre.

The centre will act as a refuge for abused women and their children, and be a place where they can feel safe until mediation is done within the families so that they can return home where they can live in peace and no longer be abused.

The healing centre will be constructed on a property that has currently got a ground floor family home located on the land and the family have generously offered their property to develop the healing centre.

On the first floor the Healing Meditation Hall will be built and will house large groups of people that will come for healings and meditations.

On the ground floor level a multi purpose Community Hall will be built and will act as the hub of community development programs within and for the community.

We envisage that there will be a number of socially based community enterprises that will directly benefit local families, that will develop and grow from the inspiration and energy generated within the local community.

Above the multi purpose community hall guest rooms will be built, where Masters, teachers and volunteers can come to stay while working at the centre and within the local community.

We are building the Divine Healing Centre in two building phases with the Healing Meditation Hall being the first phase and will cost a total of $30,000 (complete fit out and finish), for the hall. This fundraising page is for the building and completion of the Healing Meditation Hall and then will be operational immediately.

We are aiming to start the building of the first phase by the 1st May 2016 and due for completion within 2 months.

The second and final phase of building the Divine Healing Centre will be to build the Community Hall & Guest rooms so that we can operate all the programs within the Centre.

Established in Manali, India in 2002 the Divine Healing Centre, formally known as International Reiki Healing Centre, was the foremost Reiki Centre in the North of India. Originally set up by Indian born Ambika and her late husband Eddie. Ambika uses her Reiki Mastership to offer Healing to the people of her country as well as many foreigners who visited.

Their sole intention was to give the healing power of Reiki through Love to all who came. The Centre gained a world-wide reputation as visitors came from all parts of the globe.

Each person took back with them memories of a beautiful healing experience. The Healing Centre soon became known not just for the Healing services, which were free for everyone, but also as a refuge for abused local women and their children.

The Centre in Manali closed in 2009, when Divine guidance was received to move to Bir, which is located close to Dharamsala, in Himachal Pradesh in North India. Unfortunately in 2010 Eddie passed away and the Dream to set up the new Centre was put on hold.

Having worked as volunteers for Mother Teresa for several years Ambika and Eddie decided to dedicate their lives to helping the poor in India. In August 1999 after receiving the Divine Gift of Healing Ambika’s spiritual journey started, guided by her inner connection with Osho Guru Ji and the Gods and Goddesses of India.

It took three years before the Dream was realised and in March 2002 a Healing Centre in Manali, in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India opened. Their sole intention was to give the healing power of Reiki through Love to all who came.

Reiki is a spiritual power rediscovered in Japan in the late 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui. It is a healing energy from the Divinity of Unconditional Love.

This healing energy is transferred by the placing of hands on the receiver and opening the receiver’s heart to Divine Love. It balances mind, body, spirit and emotions.

It can restore, re-energise and revitalise one’s health and wellbeing. Reiki is not a religion or cult: it is a spiritual energy that opens the heart and expands the consciousness of love.

Ambika is a Reiki Master with a foot in both the east and west with many personal connections in India and abroad. The Healing Centre offers a truly authentic experience of Indian culture while still being very accessible to those from a Western background.

Ambika used her Reiki Mastership to offer healings, readings, initiation and meditation. People from all walks of life came, locals as well as foreigners.

The Healing Centre based in Manali soon became known not just for the Healing services, which were free for everyone, but also as a refuge for abused women and their children. While Ambika worked at the Centre, Eddie supported it financially.

Ambika developed a connection with people in Latvia and travelled there on several occasions every year to do healings, and conduct Reiki workshops and meditations. As her renown in the country grew, large Latvian groups came regularly every year to the Centre in Manali on the Spiritual Tours which she has been running very successfully since 2004. The Spiritual Tours bring people to the understanding of Divine Self and their Soul Journey in this lifetime.

Five years after losing Eddie and finally coming to terms with his loss Ambika is now ready to work towards making the Dream a reality once again.

Together with a band of loyal friends Ambika is seeking help and donations from kind and generous people to commence building the new Healing Centre in 2016. The Centre will be a place where all people will feel welcomed and leave feeling more empowered to make positive changes within their local communities. Once again, just like the Healing Centre that was previously based in Manali, North India, this new Centre will be a place where the poor can come for healings and abused women will have a refuge where they can feel safe with their children.

Once the Centre is built guests, volunteers and Masters from around the world are welcome to visit, witness the Healings and help in local Community projects organised by the Centre.
