iCrowdNewswire - Jan 12, 2016

The proposed trail is approximately 5.1 miles in length starting at the intersection of Murphys Grade Road and Hwy 4 Bypass and extending south to New Melones Reservoir. The City is beginning design of “Phase I” which will construct an exclusive pedestrian/bicycle pathway from Kurt Drive to State Route 49. To jump start excitement that the trail is really happening, and happening soon, funds are being raised to add simple pavement markings, and a couple street signs, marking the on-street section of the Trail between roughly State Route 49 and Greenhorn Creek. A few other roads might also be designated, and a few bike racks will be added downtown for the convenience of trail users.
