Making Art for kids more accessible

At A Painting Fiesta we value the imagination and creativity of children. (Yes, we do teach adult classes as well) We offer instructional fun and interactive Art classes and summer camps to kids ages 5-17 years old. Even though we offer a very wide range of different classes and services a lot of children are unable to take advantage of what we have to offer because for their parents, transportation is an issue. Most of our kids’ parents work full time and are unable to get here when our classes begin so the kids are unable to come on a consistent basis. We want to use the money pledged to our cause to purchase a gently used MINI BUS or 15 PASSENGER VAN to transport kids from their school and homes to our after school Art programs. During the summer when we have summer camp we will need to be able to bring kids in the morning and drop them off after camp as well. Having a Bus service for our kids not only provides a safe way to get them to our school, but it also is very convenient for the parents.

Having a bus to transport students to our studio will open many opportunities including giving back to the community. Not only do we want to make our classes more accessible for children of working parents but also, to potentially offer our services on a regular basis by picking up children of families that could not otherwise afford to send their children to special extra curricular activities and offering this free of charge as well as affordable prices on our art classes with these groups of children.

Without a little help we cannot do this on our own. Thank you for taking the time to read our story!
