Just a quick update on plans for the upcoming International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit to be held Feb. 8 – 10, 2016, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. You can find a summary of this event with connections to further conference information including the registration forms at this link.
- Nearly 600 abstracts were received and the programme for the conference is now being built around the abstracts selected. Many thanks if you submitted an abstract.
- The lineup of keynote speakers is also taking shape. Those confirmed include:Kumi Naidoo – International Executive Director of Greenpeace (term ends 31 December 2015)

- A reminder that Registration closes Dec. 31.
- Visa information can be accessed here. Please be mindful of Ethiopian immigration policies and the time it may take to get a visa. Once you have registered, you will be sent an invitation letter and be asked to complete a secure online form with details for Ethiopia’s immigration officials.
The prime organizer of this conference is our partner, Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3), a USAID initiative managed by Johns Hopkins University’s Centre for Communication Programs. The Communication Initiative is part of the Steering Group for this event.
