OFF3R Makes Crowdfunding Participation Better With Mobile

iCrowdNewswire - Nov 7, 2015

With more than 1,700 crowdfunding platforms worldwide, how do investors keep up with the opportunities? Until now, there haven’t been a lot of tools to help investors monitor the opportunities in which they have an interest. OFF3R, a new mobile monitoring platform, changes that.

“In such a fragmented marketplace, it’s essential to have some form of aggregation,” says OFF3R founder and CEO Lex Deak. “Taking a mobile-first approach allows for a dedicated channel for investors to manage their dealflow.”

Instead of checking into every platform to scour the available investing opportunities, investors can go to one source, log in, and monitor each platform for the deals they want to fund. The opportunities present themselves in a real-time moving Tinder-style swipe ticket. With a single swipe, investors can learn more about an opportunity or dismiss it and move on to the next one.

“This leads to less stress, better coverage, and clearer decisions,” Deak says.

Kill Your Browser Tabs, Open Your OFF3R Mobile App

Currently, crowdfunding investors are forced to monitor available opportunities with multiple browser tabs. This is inefficient and unproductive. By killing the tabs and opening your mobile aggregator, you can monitor more crowdfunding opportunities in less time. If you see a deal you want to fund, you can access the platform from the mobile app and place your investment.

“We already have a number of U.S. platforms onboard,” Deak says.

With the passing of Title III of the JOBS Act of 2012—on Friday, October 30, 2015—Deak hopes that he’ll have more opportunities to add more U.S. platforms for future mobile app users. He’s also hoping OFF3R will help to educate crowdfunding investors and sway the tide toward more useful and actionable information and away from misinformation.

“We’re working on a Crowdfunding Academy, which we hope will play a role in increasing awareness of the Crowdfunding sector, including the pros and cons as well as investor and platform expectations,” Deak says.

Tailor-Made Crowdfunding Opportunities

With OFF3R, investors have the ability to personalize the aggregation of opportunities through their mobile app, which is offered as a free download for Android and iOS devices. Investors can set deal alerts and receive notifications based on closing dates and investment targets. By setting their own filters, investors can find the deals they are interested in more quickly and efficiently and invest faster.

Crowdfunding platforms currently available for monitoring through OFF3R include:

  • AngelList
  • CrowdCube
  • Seedrs
  • Investdor
  • OneVest
  • Eureeca
  • OurCrowd
  • Envestors
  • InvestingZone
  • Investden
  • and Crowd2Fund

The OFF3R mobile app crowdfunding aggregator is available for download at the OFF3R website (http://off3r.com/), the App Store, and Google Play. Deak says the app has already registered more than 400,000 interactions and collected 1.2 million data points on investor sentiments and sector trends.

“We see this as the very beginning of the evolution of the disruption in finance,” he says
