The Idea

Morts & More is a young, energetic London-based business bringing the experience of made-to-measure tailoring to a new audience. Founded in response to increasing demand for premium menswear options Morts & More’s personal tailoring service offers quality, exceptional value and bold style to fashion-conscious men.

Occupying a position in the market where their suits are ‘better than the high street’ yet ‘more cost effective than high end tailoring’, Morts & More is designed to attract a wide range of customers. With branding firmly rooted in the founders’ personal sense of style Morts and More brings the increasingly sought-after tailoring experience to a new generation of street-smart customers; an experience that was previously reserved for the wealthy few.

To date we have received compliments on our product quality and design by Vogue Italia as well as a strong social media presence including 10K+ followers on Instagram.


History of the Company

Morts & More was founded three years ago and has been servicing a small number of clients from one location while the business model and execution were perfected. Considerable time and trouble has been taken to listen to and understand the needs of customers both through feedback following consultation and through more formal focus groups. Locating quality suppliers was also a priority before moving on to the next stage of growth.

We designed the business model to stand out in the category for the following reasons:

  • Value  As excellent savings are passed on to the customer.
  • Point of Sale – Working out of city members’ clubs cuts out the need for expensive retail premises.
  • Ease of Expansion – A system that can be easily replicated in multiple locations while still retaining low overheads.


Use of Funds

The current valuation reflects the creation of a brand identity and accompanying website and assets, the substantial social media presence. Funding is required to support a substantial PR and marketing campaign which up until now has been absent and to support recruitment of sales people in order to replicate this tried and tested capsule business model.
