Toledo, OH (September 24, 2015) – New Startup GenUnique Innovations, LLC announced that it is raising funds to complete the development of the revolutionary MyView Mirror. Beginning September 23, the company turned to the Indiegogo Crowdfunding platform to raise $25,000. All funds raised will cover the necessary startup and development costs associated with the project.
The MyView Mirror is designed to improve the experience of taking “selfies.” Through the technical combination of a mirror and a camera (patent pending), the MyView mirror allows you to capture an image of yourself without anyone else around. You can hang the MyView mirror in any room or prop it up in any corner. MyView Mirror is easy to operate and hands free so you can take pictures from any angle. It also has Wi-Fi connectivity for uploading pictures to any social media platform using the MyView app.
Geneva Simmons, Founder of GenUnique Innovations, said she got the idea one day when she noticed herself in the mirror after a 12-hour shift at work. “As I was walking out, I caught my reflection in the mirror. To my surprise, my appearance was still professional. I was tired, but I felt a little better about myself. And in that moment I thought, ‘man I wish this mirror could take a picture of me right now.’” She immediately got to work developing a prototype.
The Crowdfunding project is currently being hosted on the Indiegogo platform and scheduled to end Oct 21, 2015. Anyone interested in supporting Ms. Simmons and the MyView Mirror Crowdfunding project can visit www.indiegogo.com/projects/myview-mirror to learn more and pledge their support.
The Indiegogo flexible funding approach will allow GenUnique Innovations to raise capital and receive any and all pledged funds. A donation of $10 will get you recognized on the new website, $25 a MyView t-shirt and $40 a branded sweatshirt. For a $399 commitment, 10 donors will receive a Beta unit and will be a part of the testing team; upon final product delivery they will also be one of the first to receive one.
