The Solar Schools project is putting clean energy in classrooms all over the country. Schools set a fundraising target for their very own solar roof, then everyone chips in to help make it happen.
Calstock School is a small primary school in rural Cornwall. We have the potential to generate at least 9,300 kWh of electricity a year, using some of the electricity itself and exporting the rest. It can even make a profit that can go back into supporting our school. The aim is to raise £17k before next January when tariffs change.
The whole community can do this!
