Christophe was born in Paris and moved at nine months old to Cameroon and Congo, following the steps of his parents and Dad, a Credit Lyonnais banker. After studying political sciences and business,Christophe created his first company Microgolf iin 1986 at age 25 and 3 years later he added Panorama Technologies to the mix, a software company able to 30 model any landscape including golf courses.
He moved to california in May 1999 and created a wine import company “Les Petits Châteaux”.
After various positions in software companies, including Google, as quality insurance engineer, Christophe re-oriented his career onto the business side and is currently holding a position in Swit chfly professional services department.
On November 29th 2014, Christophe is invited to a housewarming party where the theme is Junior Prom. Dres sing for the party, he instinctively tie his tie around his neck directly on his skin. SkinTie was born. Receiving a lot of positive feedback since that day, Christophe decided to launch a company around this new way of wearing a tie. He first reserved the domain skintie.com, then registered the trademark Skintie (TEAS#86467135), defined and set up an online store (opening soon for pre-ordering at an introductory launch price), created a C corporation:

Designed and crafted with extreme care and flare, using the best silks and incorporating other soft fabrics like satin, taffeta, or even jewelry, each skintie, at least at the beginning, will be “made in France” and imported back to the States. It is a unique experience of soft elegance. It is meaningful in way to break codes and give a fun and joyful alternative to the boring conventional, outdated traditional tie tied around your collar and pinching your neck. SkinTie lawyers are currently defining the bases for licensing contract to allow any recognized fashion brand to design and sell skinties of their own. 3% of all profits and licensing fees will fund non-profit programs.
